Background on SELCO's Energy for Health Program:

The goal of this program is to strengthen delivery of healthcare for over 170 million people by reliably and sustainably powering 25,000 public health facilities in remote, rural, climate and socio- economically vulnerable regions across 12 states in India by 2026. Healthcare today, without considering the potential services to the uncatered populations in the world, is the 5th most polluting industry. The proposed program can help improve the quality of health services in a decentralized manner, while also making it a less carbon intensive sector. This program can prove to be the low hanging fruit for achieving SDG13 and SDG3 via SDG7. We believe that provision of 100% renewable energy and green building infrastructure for healthcare facilities, will democratize the much-needed health services in the remote regions within India and account for future pandemic preparedness.

The Role:

SELCO Foundation is looking for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about taking a lead in the high-quality data management related to Solar PV Systems. The Data Coordinator is expected to develop robust reporting tools and assist in digitizing the database by collecting and maintaining field level data from Remote Monitoring System as well as inputs received from the Customer Relation Executives. The candidate shall provide high-quality data visualization and develop state-specific dashboards as well as provide meaningful and timely insights to concerned management at HO level for corrective and strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities for the position:

  • Analyse RMS dashboard as well as CRM reports and provide a detailed summary of the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Coordinate with the dashboard development team for resolution of bugs issues and dashboard customization based on the requirement.
  • Assist team in indicator development that needs to be monitored across the system that enables monitoring on all aspects.
  • Ensure that data are collected on all indicators required for monitoring and policy making within the department and ensure there is no duplication of efforts across divisions for the same set of data points.
  • Support in development of data quality protocols needed for reliable monitoring systems.
  • Design, plan and manage the data requirements and data collection.
  • Ensure data integrity by conducting rigorous data cleaning, error checking and validation.
  • Provide training to the CRM team on dashboard scrolling, data analysis, data visualization and reporting mechanisms.
  • Review the dashboard data and generate analysis reports for both RMS and CRM based on defined indicators.
  • Support in the development of an integrated system for data storage across several MIS dashboards that exist within the state.
  • Administer the day-to-day responsibilities of master data & reporting analysts.

Qualification and Skills

  • Bachelor/Master in statistics, computer science, computer engineering or any other related disciplines.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to manage and analyse large data sets
  • Proficient in using advanced MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Candidates with skills in aesthetically pleasing presentation decks will be added advantage and are encouraged to apply.
  • Should be proficient using statistical software such as STATA, SPSS, R, Python, Power BI etc.
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills along with the ability to take initiative, solve problems, follow through, and deliver on a deadline.
  • Excellent written and vocal communication abilities, as well as the ability to adjust communication approach to various audiences.
  • Finalize and submit annual and quarterly performance evaluations for all systems, leading data analysis, investigative research and executive summary.
  • Train employees in mapping software and data visualization.
  • Understanding database design concepts
  • Willingness to travel extensively in difficult terrains within and outside the State as and when required
