About the Role:

The Program Manager will lead the implementation of a transformative partnership between SELCO Foundation (SF) and Cachar Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (CCHRC). The partnership is aimed towards redefining the livelihood health nexus in the state of Assam. The role involves managing operations, facilitating collaboration, and ensuring the successful delivery of impactful outcomes.

About the Organizations:

Cachar Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (CCHRC)

CCHRC is a not-for-profit healthcare facility located near Silchar town, Assam, dedicated to addressing the rising burden of cancer in the Barak Valley. Operated by the Cachar Cancer Hospital Society, the hospital provides a wide range of services, including cancer prevention, early detection, and advanced treatment, at subsidized or free rates.

SELCO Foundation

SELCO Foundation is an open source, not for profit organization that engages in field-based R&D and ecosystem building for deployment of clean energy solutions that alleviate poverty in tribal, rural and urban poor areas. The organization works in collaboration with practitioners in the social sector, energy entrepreneurs, NGOs from various developmental sectors and educational institutions to link the benefits of sustainable energy to poverty eradication. Key Responsibilities

1. Partnership Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at SELCO Foundation and CCHRC.
  • Facilitate regular meetings and effective communication between the organizations.
  • Monitor the partnership's progress, addressing challenges to ensure seamless execution.

2. Project Management

  • Plan, execute, and monitor projects under the partnership, including timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure successful outcomes.

3. Operational Excellence

  • Implement systems to track performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.

4. Financial Management

  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and expense management for partnership projects.
  • Ensure adherence to financial guidelines and track project expenditures.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • 5–7 years of experience in operations management, project management, and partnership handling.
  • Strong interest in implementation and solving problems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for sustainable development and social impact.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
