Job Description
SELCO Foundation is hiring for the position of Senior Project Coordinator – Healthcare Technologies/Biomedical devices for its Health Innovations Team based out of Bengaluru, Karnataka. The Senior Project Coordinator will provide programmatic and technical support for the planning, implementation, and monitoring of projects within the MedTech Team. The focus is on deploying innovative and energy-efficient healthcare technologies to address unmet public health needs and improve healthcare service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of MedTech projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
- Support deployment, operation, and evaluation of medical technology innovations against public health challenges.
- Engage with government officials, healthcare providers, and community stakeholders for smooth program implementation.
- Monitor project progress and develop metrics to measure impact on service delivery and patient outcomes.
- Document project activities, deliverables, and lessons learned for internal and external reporting.
- Assist in designing and delivering training programs for healthcare staff on system operation and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with SELCO’s quality standards and sustainability practices throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with grassroots partners, NGOs, and technology providers.
Qualifications
- Master/Bachelor’s of Public Health (MPH/BPH).
- Bachelor’s /master's degree in biomedical engineering.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s in Health Sciences, Medical Technology, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Life Sciences, or related field.
- Additional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) are desirable.
- Understanding of public healthcare delivery systems and innovative MedTech is highly preferred.
Experience
- 2-3 years of professional experience in project coordination, program management, or operations within health technology, public health, or biomedical sector.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.
- Experience working with medical technology deployments and public health programs is an advantage.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English. Knowledge of regional languages would be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in writing high quality technical and programmatic documents such as concept notes, technical specifications, operational guidelines, annual plans, budgets, status updates, minutes, assessment reports, training materials, program reports etc.
- Project management skills including planning, execution, evaluation, and internal & external stakeholders management.
- MS Office skills - proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Project and e-meeting platforms
- Ability to travel up to 50% of his/her time.
- Ability to handle a variety of assignments under pressure of deadlines.
