Nine FPOs and banking experts

On 26 September 2026, at the onboarding workshop of the Climate Smart Accelerator Program for Farmers via Collectives in Dharwad, we brought FPO leaders into conversation with WhatsLoan, a lending-technology team that runs Kisan Credit Card journeys for partner banks. Across six conversations, nine FPOs from across Karnataka put their working realities on the table: what they need financed, what the banking system costs them today, and what they want the FPO itself to be able to do. A seventh conversation, a field interview with Reddeppa K.V. of Mavanadu, adds the view from his farms and markets.
