The Energy for Health (E4H) Program enhances health delivery by powering infrastructure with sustainable energy and efficient solutions. SELCO has implemented solar systems in over 8,000 health facilities and aims to extend support to 25,000 healthcare facilities by 2026.
About the E4H Digital Platform
The E4H Platform manages decentralized renewable energy systems in public healthcare. Built on the secure DIGIT platform, it features the Incident Management System (Saura-eMitra), operational in over 5,000 facilities. Future enhancements include an Analytical Dashboard, Asset Management, and Project Management tools, with the aim to onboard 7,000 healthcare facilities by 2025.
Position Overview
SELCO Foundation seeks a motivated Associate Product Manager to develop digital solutions that address challenges in renewable energy and healthcare. This role requires collaboration with internal teams, government departments, and external partners to refine and scale effective energy solutions for last-mile communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirement Gathering: Engage stakeholders to document needs and prepare clear specifications.
- Adoption Oversight: Conduct field testing and analyze user feedback to ensure effective adoption.
- Support Engineering Teams: Assist in designing digital modules, ensuring stakeholder needs are met.
- Training Development: Create user manuals and conduct training sessions for successful adoption.
- Monitoring Improvements: Track the use of digital solutions and implement strategies for ongoing enhancement.
- Research: Identify suitable digital technologies, particularly open-source solutions, aligned with sustainability goals.
- Field Testing: Lead on-the-ground testing to refine digital tools based on user feedback.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Product Development: Minimum 5 years of experience in leading product lifecycles, from requirement gathering to scaling.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage diverse stakeholders effectively.
- Technical Documentation: Proficient in creating comprehensive BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and training materials.
- Wireframing: Experience with tools like Figma to design user-centric interfaces.
- Testing Knowledge: Familiarity with testing methodologies to ensure quality solutions.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills focused on sustainability impacts.
- Training Experience: Knowledge of conducting training sessions for user adoption.
- Adaptability: Eagerness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
- Travel Ready: Willingness to travel for field engagement.
- Empathy: Ability to connect with users and maintain professionalism.
Desired Experience
- Minimum 5 years in product development, with a focus on requirement gathering and testing, preferably in public sector environments.
- Familiarity with open-source technologies is a plus.
