Description

Systems thinking is a holistic approach to analysis that focuses on the way that a system's constituent parts interrelate and how systems work over time and within the context of larger systems. The Research and Evaluation team at SELCO Foundation conducts deep-dive studies and work towards creating evidence that brings out the organisation’s approach. It also conducts landscape studies which help inform the strategy and direction of the organization. The team also anchors some key tasks that aim towards improved dissemination of the organisation’s approach tools amongst the team members. Being an implementation based organization, the aim is to constantly improve the sustainability, efficiency and effectiveness of the programs designed by the organisation. The fellow would be working with the team to specifically strengthen its frameworks on ecosystem approach for sustainable energy access. The job would require the fellow to do secondary research, work on the field to document case studies, build information flows and causality and enhance understanding of interconnectedness and feedback loops.
