The organization works across verticals such as energy access, build environment, health, skill development, energy entrepreneurs and partners from various developmental sectors. Role Overview

The Field Coordinator will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing impact-driven activities focused on strengthening micro and small enterprises through innovative, sustainable, and energy-enabled solutions. The role involves profiling enterprises, capturing employment-related and operational data, and ensuring regular engagement with manufacturing enterprises engaged in agricultural production and allied services. The coordinator will also document enterprise learnings, develop insightful case studies, and craft compelling narratives to communicate impact across various media formats. This includes field-based follow-ups, digital data management, and close coordination with the SELCO teams to ensure that enterprise voices, practices, and outcomes are systematically captured and shared for knowledge dissemination. The position will be based at AMMA Karnataka.

The Field Coordinator will be responsible for profiling enterprises, capturing employment-related data, and ensuring regular engagement with manufacturing enterprises engaged in agricultural production services. This role combines case study documentation, field-based follow-ups, and digital data management to build a comprehensive database of enterprises and their workforce. The individual will be based in the AMMA Karnataka and will work closely with SELCO teams to ensure that enterprise voices and employment practices are systematically documented and updated.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enterprise Profiling & Data Capture
  • Collect structured enterprise data (employment numbers, turnover, products, sector, cluster membership, support received).
  • Cover a minimum of 500 enterprises (manufacturing/MSM enterprises in livelihood technology)

2. Follow-up & Engagement

  • Achieve monthly profiling targets.
  • Send regular reminders, phone calls, and follow-ups to enterprises.
  • Undertake sample on-ground visits (where feasible) to validate data and build trust.

3. Digital Push & Data Management

  • Encourage enterprises to use digital tools (Apurva) for sharing information.
  • Maintain updated databases with clean and accurate records.
  • Share monthly progress reports with SELCO and AMMA.

4. Stakeholder Coordination

  • Work from the Raichur or Dharwad SELCO office and liaise with AMMA representatives for capturing data
  • Engage with other enterprises for capturing the data
  • Coordinate between SELCO team, enterprise network stakeholders and enterprises.

Targets & Deliverable

  • Profiling 200 enterprises across Maharashtra and Karnataka within the first three months of signing the contract, followed by an additional 300 enterprises during months four to six.
  • Meet monthly profiling targets (to be set jointly by SELCO & AMMA).
  • Provide weekly updates on progress and challenges.
  • Ensure all data is validated and digitized using Apurva.ai within the same month of collection.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Social Work, Business, Rural Development, or related field.
  • Freshers are welcome to apply; prior fieldwork or internship experience is an added advantage.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to interact with enterprises daily.
  • Excellent with technology such as phone calls, reminders, and on-ground follow-up visits.
  • Basic proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; openness to learning digital tools (Apurva, forms, etc).
  • Ability to travel across the states regularly.
