Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and innovative Multimedia Visual Designer to join our team and contribute to our campaigns focused around systems thinking and climate change. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in visual design, with a strong portfolio that showcases their ability to create compelling multi-media content. This role requires a creative individual who can work collaboratively with our team to develop visual materials that effectively communicate complex ideas and engage our target audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development: Create visually appealing and cohesive graphics, illustrations, motion graphics, and animations that align with the respective campaign goals.
- Content Creation: Develop multi-media content for various platforms including social media, websites, presentations, and print materials.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the think tank team, content creators, and other stakeholders to ensure visual materials meet project objectives and deadlines.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all visual content adheres to campaign brand guidelines and maintains a consistent look and feel across all campaign materials.
- Innovation: Stay updated on design trends and tools to continually bring fresh ideas and innovative approaches to the campaign.
- Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2-3 years of professional experience in visual design, in the diverse spectrum of multiple mediums as mentioned above (preferably in the development sector)
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Multimedia Design, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and other relevant tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch).
- Portfolio: Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work including graphics, videos, motion graphics and animations.
- Creativity: Ability to think creatively and develop unique visual concepts and story-telling narratives that effectively communicate complex ideas.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design choices and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Time Management: Proven ability to manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
