Quick Facts:
Designation: Project Manager- Knowledge & Partnerships Reporting to: Program Manager, Central stage 1 team. Years of Experience: 5+ years. Location: Headquartered in Bangalore, Karnataka with pan India operations.
Travel: As required. Work type: Work from office. Working days and shifts: Monday to Saturday - 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. (Bi-weekly Saturdays holiday) Languages must know: Kannada, English, Hindi. Interview Process: Initial call (telephonic or Skype/Zoom) followed by an in-person interview. Duration: 6 months. Start date: Immediately.
About the position: Project Manager, SELCO Foundation.
This position would require the candidate to work on the innovation process in the organization with the micro businesses team. Having a strong design thinking process, product development, and industry manufacturability knowledge would be needed. He/she is expected to be entrepreneurial and adapt to varying situations and organizational requirements. In this role, the candidate would play a key role in ensuring that the values, philosophy, and ecosystem approaches of the organization are demonstrated in a consistent manner across the work portfolio.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop diverse set of content by accumulating information from the implementation teams as per the priority subjects, relevance to external stakeholders and time of dissemination
- Engage in secondary research and consult with primary stakeholders (community members, practitioners, and sectoral experts) to validate information.
- Analyze information from various sources and internal teams to create quantitative and qualitative briefs and reports.
- Assist with writing, translating, and developing content for various organizational needs, including reports, presentations, and proposals.
- Follow up with partners and end-user groups to understand their needs and develop impact documents.
- Assist the team in developing solutions documents, case study videos, and business evaluation reports.
- Conduct in-depth research within the specific sector to understand its dynamics, trends, and challenges.
- Gather data through primary research methods (interviews, surveys) and secondary sources (existing reports, articles).
Desirable Profile:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Social or Development Sector, Communications, Media or Creative Writing and/or related fields.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong networking capabilities and demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills suitable for collaborating with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to process information and create compelling documentation for the sector
- Ability to perform field-assessments, on-site evaluations and producing comprehensive reports
- Willingness to learn, grow and develop at personal and professional front, at a rapid pace with a steep learning curve
- Ability to work in an interdisciplinary and multicultural environment
- Willingness to travel for 3-5 days in a month
