This project aims to visually document and preserve the traditional Non-Timber Forest Produce (NTFP) collection practices of tribal communities in Karnataka (Soliga – BR Hills) and Odisha (Hill Kharia – Mayurbhanj). Through a seasonally aligned, long-term video documentation process, the project will capture indigenous ecological knowledge, cultural practices, and livelihood systems related to honey, amla, soapnut, and lichen collection.Preserve traditional ecological knowledge and cultural practices related to honey and other NTFP collection among tribal and forest-dependent communities.

This assignment seeks to capture and produce high-quality visual documentation of upto eight (8) selected grassroots entrepreneurs. The focus will be on documenting lived enterprise journeys, including business evolution, constraints navigated, institutional linkages, production processes, and community impact. The selected agency/consultant will undertake end-to-end video production to document eight (8) selected grassroots entrepreneurs in East Khasi Hills and Ri Bhoi districts.
